Are you new to Yoga 1 ?
All of our regularly scheduled weekly yoga classes are open to new students. If you see a class time on the schedule that works for you, you can just show up! Please arrive 15 minutes before your first class so you can sign in and we can show you around the studio. If you are a South Florida resident, we highly recommend our New Student Special: 30 days for $40. This will give you a chance to try out as many of our classes and teachers as you can for one low price!
We suggest beginning with Gentle Yoga or Yoga Basics, regardless of your fitness level. This will allow you to learn the basics of yoga safely. When you are ready for more, you can move up to our more challenging classes.
Wear comfortable athletic clothing. Form fitting attire allows your instructors to see your alignment. We practice yoga with bare feet. There are lockers available for you to store your personal belongings.
Anyone can practice yoga. The most important thing is to stay with your breath and be mindful of your own experience. As you engage your muscles and stretch, our instructors are there to safely help you take your practice to new levels. There is no competition or keeping score, so even as you challenge yourself, listen to your body, do what you can do, and enjoy your practice.
If you have a yoga mat, bring it to class. We have a great selection new mats available for sale or you can rent a Manduka mat for just $2.
While you can save time by registering online, we do allow students to drop-in to any of our regularly scheduled adult yoga classes. If you would like help finding the right class for you, please call us at (954) 929-YOGA (9642). We look forward to seeing you in class soon!
