Class Descriptions
Level 1: for students who are
new to yoga, as well as beginners who are refining their practice
and building endurance and strength. Focuses on alignment for basic
poses as well as breathing and relaxation.
Level 2: for students who understand
the basics of yoga. Introduces balancing poses, backbends, and inversions.
Level 3: for students
who have a strong understanding of yoga, breathing, and meditation,
and practice regularly. Focuses on more challenging standing and
balancing poses and inversions as well as assisted and tandem poses.
Yamuna Body Rolling: a therapuetic class using
specially designed balls to roll away tension in the muscles, bones
and connective tissue. It's like a workout and a massage at the
same time!
Mommy and Me/Itsy Bitsy Yoga: a fun class where
parents learn yoga poses to bond with baby and help them sleep better,
feel happier, and digest with ease. Includes Itsy Bitsy Yoga poses
for babies as well as hatha yoga for moms. Babies class is for infants
3 weeks- precrawling. Tots class is for infants who are almost crawling-24
months.
Kids Yoga: age-appropriate yoga where kids can
be in a positive environment, learn to release stress, improve coordination
and body awareness, and most importantly, have fun!
