Kim Ottaviani
Hatha Yoga Instructor
Kim has been teaching children for over 25 years, so making the
transition into sharing her love of yoga through leading others
in the practice was a natural progression for her. Kim hopes her
classes give students a soft place to settle, find acceptance
and re-center in times of challenge, a heart opening place to
have fun and connect in times of ease as well as a secure place
to build strength and flexibility and celebrate life. Kim began
her yoga asana practice about eight years ago in a most eclectic
manner under the direction of various teachers at a local gym.
Marcia, with her most open heart, and Eden, with his great knowledge
and ease in leading a safe fluid practice, were among her earliest
teachers. She was inspired by Steve Feinzig and Peter Barber during
her "summer of yoga" in 2004 and has been a student
of Anusara yoga since then. Kim has also soaked in the knowledge
of life on and off the mat at workshops led by John Friend, Amy
Ippoliti, Betsy Downing, Desiree Rumbaugh and Jordan Bloom. She
completed the Anusara Immersion with Jordan and the Anusara Teacher
Training under the guidance of Christy Nones and Peter Barber.
